Beginning on Tuesday, March 25 through Wednesday, April 30, our students in grades 3-11 will be taking a variety of state-mandated assessments in English Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies.
Parent-teacher conferences will be held on February 13 from 1:30-9:00 pm. Conferences will be scheduled by appointment only using our conference scheduling system (click here).
Beginning Monday, December 2 through the end of March 2025, the Covington school building is open for walking hours every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6:15 a.m. to 7:15 a.m. District residents are invited to use the hallways and gymnasiums to walk during these times. Door 28, the main entrance to CHS, will be unlocked at 6:15 and will remain open for the entire hour.
PaySchools Central is Covington’s online portal to load school lunch funds and for online fee payments! PaySchools Central provides all parents in our district with an easy way to pay for nearly every school expense online or with a convenient mobile app. It even allows parents to set up an automatic reload of a student's lunch funds when they run low. There will be a College Credit Plus (CCP) informational meeting on Wednesday February 5th at 6:30pm in the High School Commons. The CCP program is open to all students in grades 7-12.
Covington Schools will again be hosting the Veterans Day Appreciation Breakfast & Assembly on the morning of Friday, November 8, 2024. We invite all veterans and active military in our community for a gathering in honor of their brave service. Please see the flyer for additional information and to RSVP for the event.
Parents are highly encouraged to fill out the free and reduced meal application for your family through PaySchools Central QuikApps or the paper application available at your child's school. For the 2024-25 school year, any student qualifying for reduced lunch will get their breakfast and lunch free.
